Our Youth Community


Our youth meet at 11:00 Sunday mornings, unless an outing is planned for the day. Students in grades 6-12 are welcome to participate. The First Christian Church of Burbank Youth Group exists to enable all youth to discover, experience, and share the love and grace of God, to nurture the presence of the Holy Spirit, to reveal and celebrate a Christian lifestyle, and to provide a community of faith for young people based upon at least these seven components of youth ministry: Recreation, Study, Community, Worship, Mission, Servant-hood, and Leadership.


youth outingRecent activities include fishing, pizza parties, bowling, attending gymnastic tournaments at UCLA, baseball games, and hiking.

The youth also assist in many ways during church functions. Recently they helped decorate the Upper Fellowship Hall for a holiday event.

Students need not have parents attending our church to participate. All are welcome. Contact Youth Minister Josh Helmuth.
